Welcome to the Friends of Waveland Homepage!

The Friends of Waveland is a 501 c3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote and assist Waveland State Historic Site in Lexington, Kentucky. Waveland was the 19th century home of the Bryan Family, a related line to the Boone Family.
A tour of the museum includes the restored Mansion, Slave Quarters, Smoke House, Ice House and now a 19th century garden. There are plans to rebuild the blacksmith shop, which will be interpreted for schools groups and special events.
