Letters to the Webmaster
Let us know how we are doing!
LETTER TO THE EDITOR
I love this Website. Something for everyone. I am not a genealogist or even a historian. But this site makes Kentucky history interesting. I would like to know more about "Jefferson" beans. Can anyone out there help me?
Suzanne Collier
Ed. - Suzanne, thanks so much for your kind endorsement. We are most happy you enjoy it and we will endeavor to build upon that experience. As to Jefferson beans, they are a variety that was cultivated by Thomas Jefferson himself. The seeds are available and those who have raised them swear by the bean. I would try online at the Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, they have many varieties of heirloom vegetables, fruits, etc.
Friends of Kentucky History:
Kudos. Also condemnations: you are ruining my sleep schedule ;-). IMO, history is the last discipline where the academicians, the avocationalists, the enthusiasts, and those who enjoy a good read or see can come together. I also think a love of learning new things about history is one of the best gerontology tools, to keep us young as all others around us slump into decay (See Dr. Clark, Dr. Bennett Wall, Mr. Ron Bryant, et al.) Thank you all for a much needed new approach to Kentucky history.
Norm Snider
Ed. - We aim to please, Norm. We too have insomnia induced by the internet, and we are not sure we want to break the addiction. Learning may well be the Fountain of Youth. We are currently trying to bottle it for sale. Now, did you mean Ron Bryant is keeping young, or decaying? ;-)
