An ad for ice cream sounds a little bit dubious:
PIERSON'S ICE CREAM, can be had at the Frankfort Confectionary and Fruit Store, from 9 o'clock in the morning, till 9 o'clock at night. The subscriber would inform the LADIES, that he will be pleased to furnish them with ICE CREAM at THEIR HOUSES, or at HIS DWELLING, convenient to the Confectionary, where he has a room prepared for the purpose.
